Religious traditions and vigils updated in Almonte and Marchena

Religious and cultural activities are scheduled in Marchena and Almonte regarding local traditions. In Marchena, a weekend of events includes museum openings, historical conferences, and a special procession for Madre de Dios de la Merced to mark the 20th anniversary of the Parochial Association.

In Almonte, the Hermandad Matriz de Nuestra Señora del Rocío has established new regulations for the vigils of the Virgen del Rocío during October. Interested participants must register at the Brotherhood's headquarters, providing identification and consent. The rules limit vigils to ten people per day, with priority given to those who have not previously participated. Residents of Almonte and their relatives are eligible to apply, and electronic surveillance will remain active in the Parish of the Assumption.
