Australian metalcore quartet Reliqa has announced their second studio album, titled ‘High Risk Thoughts’, scheduled for release on February 12 via Nuclear Blast.
To mark the announcement, the band released the album’s opening track, ‘Serum’. The group described the song as a bridge between their musical past and present, noting its low, menacing sound and mechanical edge, which they stated was heavily inspired by the Danish progressive metal band Vola.
Reliqa noted that ‘Serum’ is currently the only song from the upcoming record they have been performing live, reporting energetic audience receptions that have increased their optimism for the full album's release.
