Relizane police dismantle organized document forgery network

Police in Relizane have dismantled a structured criminal network specialized in producing counterfeit official documents and commercial papers using advanced computer tools. The operation, carried out by the cybercrime unit of the provincial security service, resulted in the arrest of seven individuals, including one person subject to three arrest warrants.

The investigation began following digital surveillance of social media pages that openly offered services to obtain administrative documents and bank statements. Authorities successfully located three clandestine workshops across different provinces, indicating a highly organized geographic distribution. During the raids, police seized 135 counterfeit seals imitating various ministerial departments.
