Relja Popović stresses parenting mission for daughters Rea and Hana

Serbian singer‑songwriter Relja Popović told a recent interview that, despite both he and his wife Nikolija Jovanović coming from dysfunctional families, his top priority is raising their two daughters, Rea and Hana, on a foundation of love, honesty and freedom. He said, “I am the happiest when I sit with one of them and hear how well‑behaved they are; if I fail them, I will consider everything else in my life a failure.”

Popović described his role as a father as a personal mission and urged that the values he wishes to pass on will help build a “functional world” for their children, contrasting it with the broken family dynamics of his own upbringing.
