Relja Radević wins fishing competition with 10.6 kg dentex

Fourteen-year-old fisherman Relja Radević won first place in the “Catch of the Month” competition held by a Tivat-based company. On August 24, Radević caught a dentex weighing 10.6 kg and measuring 90 cm.

The catch occurred approximately 2.5 km off the coast of Petrovac at a depth of 42 meters. Radević used a silicone lure and specialized fishing gear to secure the fish after a battle lasting six to seven minutes. For his achievement, he received a 70 euro voucher for Unin Marine Centers.

Mihajlo Kovačević secured second place with a 45 kg tuna caught in the Bay of Kotor, winning a 50 euro voucher.
