Relyens partners with Italian universities on healthcare risk management

The Relyens Group, a European mutual insurance and healthcare risk management entity, has announced the renewal of its agreement with the University of Florence and a new partnership with the Università degli Studi internazionali di Roma (Unint).

These collaborations aim to improve healthcare risk management models and enhance synergy between system stakeholders, particularly in light of evolving regulations following the Gelli-Bianco law. The initiative includes an upcoming Relyens study focusing on healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and antibiotic resistance. Adriana Modaudo, Relyens' executive director in Italy, emphasized that risk containment requires shared knowledge and proactive management rather than viewing insurance solely as a tool for economic risk transfer.
