R.E.M. announces 25th anniversary reissue of ‘Reveal’

R.E.M. has announced a 25th-anniversary reissue of their 12th studio album, ‘Reveal’, scheduled for release on November 20 via Craft Recordings. The expanded edition will include the original 12 tracks alongside ‘The Black Sessions Revealed’, a previously unreleased 17-song live performance recorded for Radio France in Paris on May 7, 2001.

The reissue will be available in various formats, including digital, a 2-CD/Blu-ray set, and a standalone 2-LP set for the live sessions. The Blu-ray version will feature high-resolution audio with 5.1 surround sound and original music videos for tracks such as ‘Imitation Of Life’, ‘All The Way To Reno (You’re Gonna Be A Star)’, and ‘I’ll Take The Rain’.

A deluxe edition will also include a 32-page hardcover book containing archival photographs and new commentary from band members Michael Stipe, Peter Buck, and Mike Mills, as well as journalist Birgit Fuss.
