Rema and Tiakola release new collaborative single ‘BEST’

Nigerian musician Rema has collaborated with French-Congolese artist Tiakola on a new single titled ‘BEST’. Released on September 25, the track is part of Tiakola’s second studio album, WpointM, which features 17 tracks.

The collaboration merges Rema’s Afropop and Afrobeats style with Tiakola’s melodic French rap, highlighting the musical links between Nigeria and Francophone Africa. Tiakola’s album also includes contributions from artists such as Jorja Smith and the Congolese group Zaïko Langa Langa.

In addition to the new release, Rema has been announced as a headliner for Afro Nation Portugal 2027, scheduled for June 9 to 11 in Portimão. He will perform alongside Davido and Fally Ipupa.
