Rembang officials prioritize digital identity and religious education
Rembang Vice Regent Mochamad Hanies Cholil Barro’ has outlined initiatives to improve public services and student character building within the regency.
Regarding administrative services, the Rembang Regency Government is focusing on increasing the validity of population data and accelerating digital transformation through Digital Population Identity (IKD). During a technical working meeting, Hanies emphasized that accurate data is essential for the effective implementation of health, education, and social assistance programs. He noted that while digitalization offers easier access, it must be balanced with robust data security and protection.
In the education sector, the Rembang Regency Government is collaborating with the local Ministry of Religious Affairs to develop religious guidance programs for students at Sekolah Rakyat in Kaliombo Village. The initiative aims to provide character education, focusing initially on Quranic literacy and basic religious knowledge. The program will utilize religious educators from surrounding areas, including Sulang, Gunem, Bulu, and Rembang, to support the students' development.
