Rembang Regency accelerates road infrastructure improvements

The Rembang Regency Government is accelerating road infrastructure development to improve regional connectivity and community mobility. Several road sections included in the 2026 infrastructure improvement program have already entered the implementation phase.

Maryosa, Head of the Rembang Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (DPUTARU), stated that road improvement work funded by the Special Allocation Fund (DAK), such as the Banyuurip section, is already underway. The government is also preparing additional projects through budget changes to address roads requiring immediate attention, including the Sekararum-Krikilan road, Jolotundo road, and the Warugunung section.

Regent Harno emphasized that repairing severely damaged roads is a priority, particularly those connecting different sub-districts, due to their vital role in supporting economic activities and public services.
