Rembang Regent seeks central funding for regional road improvements

Rembang Regent Harno visited Jakarta to coordinate with the Directorate General of Bina Marga regarding road improvement proposals through the Inpres Jalan Daerah (IJD) program. The discussions aim to secure central government budget intervention for several road projects in Rembang Regency, potentially for the 2026 fiscal year.

Proposed projects include the construction of the Banyuurip-Gunem and Banyuurip-Jape road sections. Additionally, plans for the widening of the Lodan Wetan-Bonjor road and periodic maintenance of the Kalipang-Lodan Wetan section are being considered. Final decisions regarding these budget allocations are expected to be announced in November.
