Paul Seixas wins Il Lombardia, setting youngest winner record FAST-MOVING

Paul Seixas, a 20-year-old French cyclist from Decathlon CMA CGM, won the 120th edition of Il Lombardia, setting a new record as the youngest winner in the race's history. Seixas secured his first Monument title with a solo attack on the Civiglio climb, approximately 18 kilometers from the finish in Como. He finished 48 seconds ahead of Enric Mas of Movistar, while Giulio Ciccone of Lidl-Trek took third place.

The race took place in the absence of five-time defending champion Tadej Pogacar, who missed the event due to injury. Remco Evenepoel finished in fourth place after being unable to respond to the decisive climbs.

Before the start in Bergamo, the peloton held a five-minute protest to demand improved safety measures following recent incidents involving vehicles on race routes. The protest was led by Evenepoel and supported by the CPA, citing concerns over rider safety and recent collisions with motorcycles.
