Remco Evenepoel wins San Sebastián Classic as Jonathan Milan claims Tour of Poland stage

Belgian rider Remco Evenepoel secured his fourth victory at the San Sebastián Classic, becoming the first rider to win the WorldTour race four times. He attacked on the final Murgil climb, held off Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz, and won the sprint despite a puncture caused by glass on the road. After the race Evenepoel said, “Quero voltar a ser campeão do mundo” (I want to be world champion again).

In the opening stage of the Tour of Poland, Italian sprinter Jonathan Milan of Lidl‑Trek won the 233‑km flat finish in Koszalin, beating Paul Magnier and taking the leader’s jersey. Milan’s lead‑out was provided by Simone Consonni, and the victory marked his first win in the national tricolour.

Both results highlight the strong form of the riders ahead of the upcoming Grand Tours.
