Campo Grande launches school project to prevent domestic violence

The City of Campo Grande and the Court of Justice of Mato Grosso do Sul (TJMS) have partnered to launch the ‘Clarisse me disse’ project. This initiative aims to prevent domestic and family violence against women by educating 5th-grade students in five municipal schools through literature, theater, and classroom activities.

The project centers on a children's book written by Judge Caroline Costa de Camargo, designed to help children recognize abusive behaviors and understand respectful relationships. Participating schools include Ana Lúcia de Oliveira Batista, Iracema Maria Vicente, Prof. ª Hilda de Souza Ferreira, Consulesa Margarida Maksoud Trad, and Kamé Adania, selected based on social vulnerability criteria.

In addition to this project, the Municipal Teaching Network (Reme) continues to provide specialized training for psychopedagogues to address learning disorders such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD, ensuring educators are equipped with updated pedagogical strategies and legal knowledge.
