Remedios social services distribute school supplies to vulnerable children

The Municipal Directorate of Labor and Social Security in Remedios, Villa Clara, has distributed 106 backpacks, shoes, and lunchboxes to children from economically vulnerable families. This initiative is part of a support program aimed at households requiring differentiated assistance due to their social and economic conditions.

Carmen Pérez del Barrio, the municipal director of the organization, stated that such support is increasingly necessary as families face growing limitations in meeting basic needs. The distribution aims to alleviate the financial burden of preparing for the 2026-2027 school year for households with insufficient income.
