Remedium Bio secures $10 million Series A led by Lifespan Vision Ventures
Lifespan Vision Ventures has led a $10 million Series A financing round for Remedium Bio, Inc. The funding round included participation from Eli Lilly and Company and HKX Capital. As part of the agreement, Harry Robb of Lifespan Vision Ventures has joined the Remedium Bio Board of Directors.
Remedium Bio is developing a platform for durable protein therapeutics. The technology aims to enable controlled, long-lasting expression of therapeutic proteins through minimally invasive subcutaneous administration by utilizing adipocytes as a site for protein production. This approach is intended to provide multi-year benefits and adjustable dosing for patients managing chronic diseases, including cardiometabolic conditions.
The capital will be used to advance the company’s lead programs, expand its platform, and prepare for first-in-human clinical studies.
