Remedy Entertainment's Control Resonant reaches gold status

Remedy Entertainment has announced that its upcoming action RPG, Control Resonant, has officially reached ‘gold’ status, meaning development is complete and the game is ready for distribution.

The digital version of the title is scheduled to launch on September 24, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, the physical edition has been delayed to October 15, 2026, due to logistical requirements for production and delivery.

Set in a distorted Manhattan following the events of the original Control, the sequel follows Dylan Faden as they navigate paranormal threats using elemental abilities and a transforming melee weapon called the Aberrant. The game is expected to offer a larger experience than its predecessor, with a focus on melee combat and expanded exploration.
