Remedy Entertainment honors David Lynch in Control Resonant

Remedy Entertainment has included a tribute to the late filmmaker David Lynch in its latest game, Control Resonant. The tribute features an Easter egg within the game's fictionalized New York City environment.

A movie theater marquee in the game displays the phrase ‘NOW PLAYING: FIX YOUR HEART OR DIE.’ This is a direct reference to a line from the 2017 series Twin Peaks: The Return. In that scene, the character Gordon Cole, played by Lynch, speaks to his transgender colleague Denise Bryson.

The phrase has become a significant motto within transgender rights activism, reflecting Lynch's stance against transphobia through his character's convictions.
