Remedy Entertainment issues hotfix for Control Resonant

Remedy Entertainment has released a hotfix for its new title, Control Resonant, to address player feedback regarding high difficulty levels during the early stages of the game. The update reduces the base health and stun requirements for most enemies, including the Dancer and Deserter bosses, while increasing the player character's maximum strength and ability scaling.

In addition to combat balancing, the patch introduces an Assist Mode to allow players to customize difficulty settings. It also reduces the cost of resetting character builds and increases the availability of reset items from merchants. The update includes UI improvements to make mechanics more understandable.

However, the hotfix has caused significant inconvenience for PC players. Due to platform-specific mechanisms, those who had already preloaded or downloaded the game are being forced to re-download the entire approximately 90 GB file. Remedy Entertainment has issued an apology on social media, calling the situation an oversight and stating they will work to prevent similar issues in the future.
