Remedy Entertainment reports Alan Wake 2 sales exceed 3 million copies

Remedy Entertainment has announced that its video game Alan Wake 2 has surpassed 3 million copies sold. The milestone was reached during the second quarter of the year.

Following its initial release in late 2023, the title has maintained steady sales, averaging slightly more than one million copies per year. The developer confirmed that the project has successfully recouped its development costs and is now generating ongoing revenue for the studio.

In addition to Alan Wake 2, the studio reported that other titles in the franchise continue to sell at a normal rate as part of its back catalog. During the second quarter, revenue for both Alan Wake 2 and Alan Wake Remastered was driven exclusively by consumer sales, with no new revenue from platform agreements reported.
