Remedy Entertainment reveals CONTROL Resonant trailer at gamescom

Remedy Entertainment has unveiled the ‘Altered State’ trailer for its upcoming sequel, CONTROL Resonant, during the gamescom Opening Night Live event. The footage, set to ‘Omen’ by The Prodigy, features protagonist Dylan Faden utilizing paranatural abilities and mastering different forms of the ‘Aberrant’ to combat monumental bosses in surreal environments.

Digital versions of the game are scheduled for a worldwide release on September 24, 2026, with physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S arriving on October 15, 2026. A playable demo is currently available to the public at the Level Infinite booth during gamescom.

In a brand collaboration, Remedy has partnered with ZA/UM Atelier to launch a five-piece, made-to-order clothing collection inspired by the Federal Bureau of Control. The collection is being showcased at gamescom, with pre-orders now open.
