Remedy reveals 30‑hour main story and up to 50‑hour total playtime for Control Resonant

Remedy Entertainment announced that its upcoming sequel Control Resonant will offer roughly 30 hours of gameplay for the main storyline and about 50 hours for players who complete all optional content. Lead gameplay designer Sergey Mohov told TechRadar that the expanded duration reflects a larger game world, additional enemy factions, extra boss fights and deeper RPG elements.

The action‑adventure is set seven years after the original, starring Dylan Faden in a devastated Manhattan. A recap mode lets newcomers play without having finished the first game. Control Resonant is scheduled for release on 24 September 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
