Remi Hirano appears on NHK with arm fracture

Cooking enthusiast Remi Hirano appeared on the NHK program ‘Remi Hirano’s Fast Recipe! 2026 Autumn’ on September 21 while wearing a cast on her right arm. Hirano revealed that she suffered a comminuted fracture, noting that due to the Silver Week holiday, she had not yet been able to undergo surgery.

During the live broadcast, guest Minami Hamabe assisted with tasks such as using a knife to compensate for Hirano’s injury. The program also featured appearances by Hidetoshi Nakayama, Yu Sawabe, Asuka Wada, and announcer Keisuke Ando.

A moment of tension occurred during the tasting segment when Hirano began promoting her upcoming December event in Hyogo Prefecture. Announcer Keisuke Ando repeatedly attempted to stop her, reminding her that the program was on public broadcasting, but Hirano continued to provide specific details regarding the concert dates and venue.
