Remixpoint shifts to Bitcoin-only strategy after selling all altcoins

Japanese listed company Remixpoint has transitioned to a Bitcoin-only cryptocurrency treasury strategy. On September 1, the firm sold its entire holdings of Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, and Dogecoin (DOGE).

The sale of these altcoins generated approximately 878.8 million yen (roughly $5.5 million) in gross proceeds. The transactions resulted in a net profit of approximately 117.8 million yen (about $737,000), with Ethereum and Solana providing the largest gains, while Dogecoin was the only asset sold at a loss.

Following the liquidation, Remixpoint holds approximately 1,506 BTC, valued at over $115 million. The company stated that the shift aims to “clarify investment strategy” and “improve capital efficiency” by reducing exposure to the volatility of multiple token classes.

Remixpoint indicated that the proceeds from the sale may be used to fund growth initiatives, such as large-scale energy infrastructure and battery storage projects, or to strengthen the company's financial structure. The firm also noted that it generates additional revenue through Bitcoin lending, earning approximately 14.92 BTC in interest between February and August.
