Clube do Remo fined by STJD as Paysandu targets Série C advancement

Clube do Remo has been fined R$ 3,000 by the Superior Court of Justice of Sports (STJD) following an incident during a Série A match against Atlético-MG. A supporter threw a plastic cup containing liquid toward the officiating crew as they were heading to the locker rooms. While the object did not strike the referee, the club was penalized under the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice for failing to prevent such incidents.

Meanwhile, Paysandu is focusing on the final stages of the Série C first phase. Player Luciano Taboca and the coaching staff have emphasized the need for concentration to secure qualification for the decisive quadrangular. Head coach Junior Rocha has also addressed off-field discipline, noting that while issues have decreased, a few players still require guidance regarding lifestyle and professional commitment to ensure peak performance during the upcoming matches.
