Remo defender Matheus Felipe aims to help club escape relegation

Matheus Felipe, a centre‑back signed by Clube do Remo during the 2024 Série A season, quickly earned a place in the starting lineup despite a compressed schedule caused by the World Cup break. He credited the warm reception from teammates, coaching staff and club employees for his rapid adaptation, saying, “The main factor was the confidence the group gave me.” Felipe highlighted the need for collective defensive focus, noting that “defence starts at the front and ends with goalkeeper Marcelo Rangel.”
