RemotePeople, a New York-headquartered global Employer of Record (EOR), payroll, and recruitment services provider, has completed its 2026 SOC 2 Type II audit. The independent examination was conducted by INTERCERT CPA LLC following AICPA SSAE 21 attestation standards.
The audit covered a 12-month observation period from May 31, 2025, to May 30, 2026. It evaluated the company’s cloud-hosted platform across three Trust Service Criteria: Security, Availability, and Confidentiality. The auditor issued a clean opinion, stating that the controls were suitably designed and operated effectively to meet service commitments.
This attestation adds to the company’s existing ISO 27001 and GDPR certifications, as well as its A+ platform security rating from Astra Security. The scope of the audit is intended to address the sensitive personal, tax, and banking data managed by the platform for employees in more than 150 countries.
