RemTech Expo to focus on environmental remediation and regeneration in Ferrara
The 20th edition of RemTech Expo is scheduled to take place from September 16 to 18, 2026, at the Ferrara exhibition district. The event serves as a national reference point for the remediation of contaminated sites, urban regeneration, and territorial protection, bringing together institutions, businesses, and researchers.
During the event, the Basilicata Region will present its environmental policies and sustainable development strategies. A significant focus will be placed on the remediation of the Tito Site (Sin di Tito), with insights provided by the Single Commissioner for the remediation of contaminated sites, General Giuseppe Vadalà. Additionally, regional officials will participate in discussions regarding groundwater monitoring and hydrogeological protection.
Italian Deputy Minister for the Environment and Energy Security, Vannia Gava, emphasized the importance of converting allocated resources into concrete interventions through simplified procedures and science-driven investments. The expo aims to strengthen the collaboration between the productive system and public institutions to ensure environmental safety and community well-being.
