René Arnoux to headline racing history event in Fiorano Modenese

Former Formula 1 champion René Arnoux will be the guest of honor at the event ‘Il sorpasso in pista – Digione ’79 e altri sorpassi da Formula Uno’ in Fiorano Modenese. Scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, the gathering will take place in Piazza Ciro Menotti.

Organized by the Comitato Fiorano in festa in collaboration with the Municipality of Fiorano Modenese, the event is part of the Italian Motor Week 2026. The program includes historical racing stories, engine sounds, and a concert by the Motor Land Band. The evening will be hosted by journalist Rita Costi and Motorsport.com Italia editorialist Franco Nugnes.

Activities begin in the afternoon at 4:00 PM with a go-kart exhibition and free driving simulator trials for youths aged 11 and older. Admission to the event is free.
