RENAEL addresses Italy's ecological transition and local climate impact

At the Green Horizon 2026 national event in Rome, the National Network of Local Agencies and Entities for Energy and Sustainable Development (RENAEL) addressed the challenges of the ecological transition in Italy. The discussion focused on the necessity of translating international climate constraints into effective local models to avoid structural gaps.

A survey conducted by the Istituto Piepoli for RENAEL indicates that the climate crisis is no longer viewed as an abstract risk by the Italian public. According to the study, 87% of Italians perceive the climate crisis as something that directly impacts their daily lives, affecting domestic comfort and well-being through energy costs and environmental changes.
