Renaissance Partners to acquire De Wave Group from Platinum Equity

Renaissance Partners has signed a binding agreement to acquire control of De Wave Group from Platinum Equity. De Wave Group, headquartered in Genoa, is a global leader in interior outfitting for cruise ships and maxi yachts.

The transaction is expected to close by the fourth quarter of 2026, pending antitrust and Golden Power regulatory approvals. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. De Wave Group reported revenues exceeding 400 million euros in 2025 and employs over 1,400 people worldwide. The company maintains an order book for new builds exceeding 2 billion euros.

As part of the transition, De Wave Group’s management team will reinvest nearly all proceeds from their sale to support the new financial partner.
