Renan Santos registers presidential candidacy for Brazil's Missão party

Renan Santos, representing the Missão party, has officially registered his candidacy for the Presidency of Brazil with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). His running mate is Aroldo Medina, a journalist and retired military lieutenant colonel.

In his asset declaration, Santos reported total assets of R$ 795,000, including R$ 100,000 in capital quotas, R$ 119,700 in corporate holdings, R$ 275,300 in autonomous activity-related assets, and R$ 300,000 in savings or credits. Medina declared assets totaling R$ 1.6 million, which include a Taurus pistol, a military sword, and a gold medal valued at approximately R$ 200,000.

The Missão party's government plan, titled "Yellow Book," outlines proposals such as ending the quota system, militarizing schools in high-violence areas, and implementing fiscal adjustments. The plan also proposes replacing Bolsa Família with work fronts and the fusion of the Culture and Education ministries.
