RENAP announces office closures and special service hours in Guatemala

The National Registry of Persons (RENAP) in Guatemala has announced that its offices nationwide will be closed on Friday, August 21, in observance of RENAP Employee Day.

To compensate for the closure, the institution will hold a special service day on Saturday, August 22, with extended hours from 8:00 to 12:00 at four specific locations: RUS Mall (Zone 7), Plaza FPK (Zone 9), Metronorte (Zone 17), and Centro Cívico del Sur in Villa Nueva.

Normal operations will resume on Monday, August 24. On that day, five selected sites will host a “DPI Night” activity. While physical offices are closed on Friday, electronic services remain available through the official web portal and mobile application. Notably, the office at Plaza FPK will continue to provide 24/7 services for the registration of deaths.
