Laprophan to launch 2.22 billion dirham IPO on Casablanca Stock Exchange
Moroccan pharmaceutical group Laprophan has received approval from the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) for an initial public offering on the Casablanca Stock Exchange. The operation, which can reach a maximum of 2.22 billion dirhams, is scheduled for subscription from November 9 to November 17, 2026.
The IPO consists of two components: a capital increase of approximately 1.4 billion dirhams and the sale of 2,412,200 existing shares held by MC IV Pharma and MC IV Morocco, valued at up to 822.56 million dirhams. Upon completion, the shares offered to the public will represent 37.64% of Laprophan’s capital and voting rights. The subscription price is set at 341 dirhams per share.
Laprophan intends to use the funds to support its industrial development, strengthen its financial structure, and finance external growth. This includes the recent agreement to acquire Corporate Investment Holding, the parent company of the Polymedic laboratory. The group, founded in 1949, operates across more than 50 countries and maintains production sites in Morocco and Switzerland.
