In a separate charging‑speed study of 24 electric models, 14 vehicles reached 10 % to 80 % state‑of‑charge in under 30 minutes. The Smart #5 was the fastest, achieving the 80 % mark in just 15 minutes, while the MG S6 EV was marginally quicker than the manufacturer’s claim (37 minutes vs. 38). The slowest charger was the KGM Musso EV, which required 39 minutes. Overall, the test confirmed that real‑world charging times are often longer than advertised, though high‑power models can meet or exceed expectations.
