Renault and Xpeng launch new SUV models in Europe

Automakers are expanding their presence in the European SUV market with new hybrid and electric models. Renault has introduced the Rafale, a hybrid SUV coupé manufactured at its Palencia plant in Spain. The lineup includes a 200 hp hybrid version starting at approximately 40,000 euros and a 300 hp plug-in hybrid variant priced near 48,000 euros. The vehicle features Google-integrated technology and design elements from Alpine.

Simultaneously, Chinese manufacturer Xpeng is targeting the European market with the L03, an electric SUV coupé priced at 34,990 euros. Designed by former Ferrari design chief Ranma Lopez, the L03 aims to compete with the Tesla Model Y. The model features an aerodynamic profile and claims a 20-minute recharge capability.
