Renault Argentina and Sodimac report sustainability and emission reduction progress

Renault Argentina has released its tenth Sustainability Report, detailing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) progress for 2025. Following Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and SASB standards, the report highlights an 11% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions compared to the previous year. The announcement coincides with the 70th anniversary of the Santa Isabel Factory in Córdoba, which has produced over 3.5 million vehicles across 34 models since its inauguration.

In Chile, Sodimac has received the Seal of Excellence from the Ministry of the Environment for the seventh consecutive year through the HuellaChile program. The retail company reported a 33% cumulative reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions over the last four years. Sodimac currently sources 86% of its energy from renewable sources and utilizes carbon credits to offset emissions from home deliveries. The company, part of Grupo Falabella, also works with suppliers to manage emissions across its value chain.
