Renault Clio: New LPG model and legacy V6 performance
Renault is expanding its Clio lineup with a new 1.2 Eco-G 120 hp Techno version, featuring a dual-fuel gasoline/LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) engine. This model, which utilizes a 6-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission, positions Renault and Dacia as unique players in the market by offering LPG compatibility at a time when alternative fuel sales in Europe are rising.
Separately, the Renault Sport Clio V6 (produced between 2000 and 2005) remains a notable high-performance icon. Derived from the Clio 2 but significantly modified with a wide track and a V6 engine, the model served as a flagship for the brand's sporting heritage, offering between 230 and 255 hp depending on the phase.
