Renault expands electric vehicle lineup with R4 and Megane E-Tech

Renault is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the Renault 4 E-Tech and updates to the Megane E-Tech.

The Renault 4 E-Tech, designed as a larger, more family-oriented successor to the R5 E-Tech, utilizes a neo-retro design inspired by the classic 4L. It is expected to offer two motorizations (120 and 150 hp) and two battery sizes. The entry-level 120 hp version features a 40 kWh battery with a WLTP range of 308 km. Pricing for the R4 is expected to start around €29,900.

Meanwhile, the 2027 Megane E-Tech is being positioned as a more complete alternative for families. The upcoming model will feature a single mechanical version producing 218 CV and 300 Nm of torque, powered by a 67 kWh LFP battery capable of up to 500 km of WLTP range. The Megane will be available in Techno and Esprit Alpine trims, with prices in Spain starting at €37,685 for the Techno version.
