Renault expands EV lineup with refreshed Megane and electric race truck
Renault unveiled a major refresh of its Megane E‑Tech electric hatchback, adding a new front design, a 67 kWh lithium‑iron‑phosphate battery delivering up to 500 km WLTP range, 165 kW DC rapid charging (15–80% in about 24 minutes), and upgraded infotainment with Google services and upcoming Gemini AI. The updated model offers two trims, Techno and Esprit Alpine, and includes driver‑assist features and Vehicle‑to‑Load capability.
Renault Trucks introduced its E‑Tech T electric truck as the official pace truck for the French championship of trucks, driven by Nadège Cessé. The truck, customized by designer Maxime Duvillard, performed at events in Nogaro, Magny‑Cours and is slated for the 24‑hour truck race. Its deployment showcases Renault's push to promote heavy‑duty electric vehicles in competitive motorsport and highlights the shift toward electric transport in road freight.
