Renault launches all-electric Twingo E-Tech
Renault has launched the new Twingo E-Tech, an all-electric reincarnation of its iconic 1992 model. The compact A-segment vehicle, measuring 3.79 meters, is manufactured at the Renault Group plant in Novo Mesto, Slovenia.
Designed as a modern city car, the Twingo features a five-door layout with a focus on practicality. It includes a 260-liter boot, which can be expanded to 360 liters by sliding the rear seats, or over 1,000 liters with the seats folded. The interior incorporates modern technology, including a 10-inch touchscreen with Google Android integration and AI voice control.
The electric powertrain delivers 60 kW of power and 175 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–50 km/h acceleration in under four seconds. The vehicle is available in two trim levels, Evolution and Techno, with pricing in markets like Slovakia starting below 20,000 euros.
