Renault launches limited Grand Kangoo Couleur in Japan

Renault Japon has launched a limited edition version of the Grand Kangoo MPV, named the ‘Couleur’ model. Only 50 units are available, featuring a unique ‘Orange Colonge’ body color inspired by the historic town of Collonges-la-Rouge in central France.

The vehicle is designed for versatility, offering a 7-seat configuration with independent second and third-row seats. These seats can slide, fold, flip, or be removed, allowing for 1,024 different seating arrangements. Cargo capacity ranges from 500 liters with all seats in use to a maximum of 3,050 liters when the rear rows are removed.

Mechanical specifications include a 1.3L gasoline turbo engine paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The model comes equipped with 16-inch all-season tires and ‘extended grip’ technology for improved traction on rough surfaces. Safety features include adaptive cruise control, active emergency braking, and emergency lane keep assist. The vehicle is priced at 4.82 million yen. Sales will be conducted via a lottery system until September 27, after which remaining units will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
