Renault reports record revenues in Spain and strong group growth

Renault has reported strong financial performance, achieving record revenues and increased profits in its Spanish operations for 2025. In Spain, revenues grew by 13% to reach 11.329 billion euros, driven by strong sales across its brands. Despite this growth, executive compensation in the Spanish subsidiary decreased, with average director pay falling from 200,720 euros to 139,329 euros.

On a broader scale, the Renault Group reported revenues exceeding 30 billion euros in the first half of 2026, a nearly 10% increase compared to 2025. The group maintained its position as the second-largest seller of passenger and commercial vehicles in Europe, with the Dacia brand ranking among the top ten best-selling brands, led by the Sandero model.

Following the departure of CEO Luca de Meo to the luxury sector at Kering in July 2025, François Provost took over as CEO. The company has since transitioned from the ‘Renaulution’ strategy to a new strategic plan called ‘FutuREady’. In markets like Poland, Renault is utilizing price reductions on models such as the Clio to drive sales competition.
