Renault revives iconic 4 nameplate with all-electric E-Tech model
Renault has launched the E-Tech electric Renault 4, an all-electric B-SUV that serves as a modern revival of the classic 4L model. The new vehicle features a 52 kWh battery pack delivering 150 horsepower and has demonstrated a real-world consumption rate of 15.1 kWh per 100 kilometers during testing.
Designed with retrofuturistic elements, the compact vehicle measures 4.14 meters in length and offers a 420-liter trunk. Interior versatility is a key focus, with a low loading threshold of 61 centimeters and rear folding seats that allow for the transport of items up to 2.2 meters long. The digital cockpit integrates Google functionality into a single horizontal panel.
Special editions, such as the Canvas Roof version, feature an electrically operated fabric roof designed to maintain interior passenger space. The vehicle is noted for its maneuverability, featuring a turning radius of 10.8 meters and a one-pedal driving mode utilizing regenerative braking.
