Renault Sport Spider to debut in Forza Horizon 6

The Renault Sport Spider is set to make its debut in Forza Horizon 6, marking its return to major racing video games after more than two decades. Originally produced in the mid-1990s at the Alpine factory in Dieppe, France, the lightweight, mid-engine sports car was designed for a pure driving experience with minimal weight and no superfluous elements.

The vehicle features a 150 CV four-cylinder engine derived from the Clio Williams, positioned in a mid-rear configuration. This technical setup emphasizes agility and lightness, drawing comparisons to rivals like the Lotus Elise. While the Spider appeared in older titles such as Metropolis Street Racer and Project Gotham Racing 2, it had previously been absent from the Forza and Gran Turismo series due to licensing or other factors. Its inclusion in Forza Horizon 6 is expected to arrive in September alongside other notable additions like the McLaren W1.
