Renault Twingo E-Tech electric demonstrates high energy efficiency in urban tests
Tests of the new Renault Twingo E-Tech electric have demonstrated high levels of energy efficiency during urban driving. In a controlled test starting from Boulogne-Billancourt and traveling toward Strasbourg, the vehicle showed significant frugality.
One specific test conducted under optimal conditions—including early morning hours and a prepared urban loop—resulted in an average consumption of 6.8 kWh/100 km after 100 km of driving. Even without using a specific eco mode, the vehicle maintained low consumption levels, with some segments reaching as low as 6.5 kWh/100 km. For comparison, the reported consumption is notably lower than the WLTP rating of 12.2 kWh/100 km cited for a rear-wheel-drive Tesla Model 3.
