Renault unveils 800V electric van platform and conversion program ahead of IAA Hannover and Paris Motor Show

Renault announced a new 800‑volt electric platform for its VUL range, including the Trafic E‑Tech Electric and Master E‑Tech Electric. The models retain an 87 kWh battery delivering up to 448 km of range, while adding faster thermal management, improved charge performance and a 22 kW bidirectional charging option.

The company also launched the “converted by Renault” programme, assembling custom‑configured electric vans in‑factory and partnering with its Qstomize unit and more than 300 certified body‑shops across Europe. The offering shortens delivery times and is available through Renault’s 2 700 European dealerships.

Renault highlighted the commercial success of the Master, the best‑selling heavy‑van in Europe since early 2026, and used the upcoming IAA Transportation show in Hannover and the Paris Motor Show to showcase the new models alongside industry peers such as Stellantis, Ford and Kia.
