Renault updates Renault 4 E-Tech with new LFP battery version

Renault has announced updates for the Renault 4 E-Tech electric model, including improved range for existing versions and the introduction of a more affordable entry-level trim called the Jogging.

The new Jogging version, expected by the end of 2026, will utilize a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery with a gross capacity of 37 kWh (36.5 kWh usable) and an 80 kW (110 hp) motor. This configuration offers a WLTP range of 305 km and can charge from 10% to 80% in 25 minutes. The use of LFP technology and a cell-to-pack architecture is intended to reduce production costs.

Additionally, Renault has implemented aerodynamic improvements, such as underbody fairings and new side mirrors, to increase the efficiency of current models. The 40 kWh battery version with a 120 hp motor now reaches a WLTP range of 310 km, while the 52 kWh version with a 150 hp motor has increased its range to 415 km.
