Rendez-Vous Rasa: France-Indonesia Gastronomy Week 2026 launches

The Rendez-Vous Rasa: France-Indonesia Gastronomy Week 2026 has launched, marking a cultural collaboration between the French Embassy in Indonesia, the Institut français Indonésie (IFI), and the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism’s Wonderful Indonesia Gastronomy (WIG) 2026 program.

Formerly known as Le Goût de France, the event has evolved to foster deeper cultural ties through culinary dialogue. The program features prominent French chefs, including two-Michelin-starred Chef Stéphane Carrade and Chef Fabrice Danniel from Le Cordon Bleu. The initiative focuses on applying traditional French techniques to local Indonesian ingredients, such as using kaffir lime or local tubers in classic preparations.

The event spans two weeks and involves more than 150 restaurants across 40 cities in Indonesia, aiming to blend European culinary traditions with the rich flavors of the Indonesian archipelago.
