Renée Slegers defends Arsenal Women's attacking form

Arsenal Women manager Renée Slegers has expressed confidence in her team’s attacking capabilities despite a low scoring rate of three goals in their first five matches. Ahead of a UEFA Women’s Champions League match against Paris FC, Slegers dismissed concerns that recent personnel changes have disrupted the squad's chemistry.

Slegers noted that the players spend significant time together both on and off the pitch, which helps build necessary connections. While acknowledging that confidence can fluctuate in a mental game like football, she emphasized that the squad remains grounded and focused on finding solutions. She believes the team's true potential will be realized once their attacking play begins to click.
